90TH MOHILL AGRICULTURAL SHOW

Schedules for Mohill’s 89th Annual Agricultural Show Day on Sunday August 20st next are now available from Mohill Show Office –071-9631007/ 086-8710215 / 087-2054746 or email mohillshow@gmail.com.

The Schedule outlines the great range of Classes in all Exhibit Sections – Horses, Ponies, Donkeys, Pedigree and Non Pedigree Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Poultry, Dogs, Cookery, Crafts, Flowers, Farm & Garden Produce, Art, Photography and Junior Classes.

This year the Committee are delighted that Kevin P. Kilrane & Co., Solicitors, Mohill have renewed their generous Sponsorship of the two Special Beef Animal Classes for 2017  and Aurivo have kindly sponsored two new Classes in the Non –Pedigree Cattle Section – Non-Pedigree Heifer suitable for breeding and Non-Pedigree Male or Female Weanling.

Mohill Show Committee gratefully acknowledge the fantastic financial support they receive from their many loyal and generous Sponsors, both local and national,  to host this Annual Event in our Community.

In the Horse Section the main feature will be the Leitrim Irish Draught Breeders Championship Final which brings the very best in Irish Draught Mares and Foals to Mohill from all over Ireland. This Championship is organised and sponsored by The Leitrim Irish Draught Breeders Association in conjunction with Horse Sport Ireland and the Irish Shows Association.

Mohill Show will also host qualifiers for the following Championships organised by the Irish Shows Association:

1) The Traditional Sport Horse Foal ( Mountbellew)
2) The All Ireland Irish Draught Mare & Foal Team ( Ballinrobe)
3) The Greenvale Animal Feeds Beef Heifer (Strokestown)
4) The Nutrias Beef Bullock (Strokestown)
5) The Easterlicious Cook of the Year ( Moate)
6) The Fleetwood Paints Amateur  Painting Champiosnhip(Virginia)
7) The Irish Native Dog Breed Championship (Eyrecourt)
8) All Ireland Gun Dog Championship (Beltra)


Mohill Show will also host the Digges & District Beekeeping Association Honey Show along with a superb range of Classes for Cookery, Crafts , Art, Photography , Flowers , Farm & Garden Produce and Junior Classes in the Complex.

Nora Fitzpatrick Stylist  and Sylvia Sexton Nutrition & Health Personal Coach will give Talks in the Complex.

As well as the very popular Dog Show in the Afternoon there will be the Best Dressed Lady & Glamourous Granny, Little Miss Mohill & Little Master Mohill Competitions, Vintage Machinery Class and Driving for Style & Appearance Classes.
